Configuration (Optional)

NPC Birthday Alerts works perfectly out of the box with no setup required. If you want to tweak the behaviour, a config.json file is generated in Stardew Valley/Mods/BirthdayNotifications/ after your first launch.

Set to false to only show notifications for today's birthdays. Default is true (also shows tomorrow's).

🎁 SuggestGift

Set to false if you'd rather choose gifts yourself. Default is true.

How to Install

NPC Birthday Alerts requires SMAPI — the Stardew Valley Modding API. Install SMAPI first, then download the mod from Nexus Mods and drop the mod folder into your Stardew Valley/Mods directory. Launch the game through SMAPI and the mod activates automatically.
